I guess we forgot to mention the circumstances. When we bought the condo, the previous owners had large screen TV’s mounted over the fireplace and in the study. One TV is plenty for us. The fireplace TV was given to a family from Senegal with young children who needed to become acculturated and learn English. The TV (which was requisitioned by our former Senegal Peace Corp Volunteer daughter, thanks be) was greatly appreciated.
What remained was the electrical outlet and a gaping hole and others where the mounting arm and cable outlet were. We had covered it over with a piece of art, but knew that we ignoring the problem. This last trip down, Ray took matters in hand. The art is back in place so the outlets don’t show. Just waiting for the next owners to undo Ray’s work.
For a clock? Did you tell us about needing an electrical outlet over your head?
